What is a PATS Calculator Credit?
A PATS credit allows you to generate INCODE values required to complete key programming on newer vehicles.
How do I access my credits after purchase?
Credits are available immediately after purchase.

• A copy will also be sent to your email.

How do I use PATS Calculator Credits?
1. Follow your normal key programming process until prompted for an INCODE
2. Log in to app.calculatorsmith.com using your purchase credentials (shopify credentials).
3. Enter the vehicle's 40-character OUTCODE (use number 0, not letter O)
4. Click "Generate Incode" ONCE and wait for the result
5. Your INCODE will appear on screen - copy, enter it into your programming device immediately
6. If you refresh the page, your last incode will be restored automatically (varies on internet connection)
⚠️ **Important**: Use number "0" not letter "O", and avoid double-clicking the Generate button.
Which vehicles require a calculation?
The following Ford and Lincoln vehicles currently require an incode/outcode calculation during key programming:
2021+
Bronco, Corsair, Ecosport, F-150, Nautilus, Mustang Mach-E
2022+
Maverick, Transit, Transit Connect, Aviator
2023+
Escape, Expedition, Explorer, F250, F350, F450
2024+
Bronco Sport, Mustang
2025+
Navigator, Navigator L
Future models will be added to this list as they are tested and validated.
What if my calculation fails?
If the code you enter is invalid, the system will not return an INCODE and may display an error. In this case, no credit will be deducted from your account.
Why am I being asked to log in at app.calculatorsmith.com?
If you visit app.calculatorsmith.com and are asked for a username and password:
Use the same credentials you used to purchase credits on calculatorsmith.com.
In most cases, if you’re already logged in to calculatorsmith.com, you’ll be signed in automatically.
Do I need to download a separate program to calculate the INCODE?
No. Everything runs online in your CalculatorSmith account—no downloads or separate programs are required.
What key programmers does the calculator work with?
CalculatorSmith works with any key programmer that provides the vehicle’s OUTCODE.
Can I store multiple credits in my account?
Yes. You can purchase and hold multiple credits.
• Your available balance updates automatically after each purchase.
• Credits remain valid until used.
How many people can log into one account to use credits?
Multiple users can log into the same account from different devices. However, we do not recommend sharing an account for incode generations. If two users generate codes at the same time, it can cause processing errors or credit conflicts.
For best performance and reliability, we strongly encourage each user to create their own account and purchase separate credits.
Do credits expire?
No. PATS Calculator Credits never expire.
